Treatment of chronic wounds

Modern treatment of chronic venous ulcers as well as mixed ulcerations is provided according to the current standards of the German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Treatment. Phased wound treatment is embedded in the diagnosis and therapy of those diseases which impair wound healing. In some cases, surgical wound closure and/or skin grafting is necessary after the completion of optimal decongestive therapy.
